Mission & Purpose

Who we are

Centerton Cares is a non-profit charity with the goal of encouraging members of our community to help their neighbors in need through donations & service.

What we do

We help bring Unity to our Community by serving as a resource for the community and to encourage the residents of Centerton to help one another.

How you can get involved

Help support our food pantry, make a one-time or monthly tax deductible donation, or donate free items for others to use (e.g. household items, toys school supplies). We sponsor events and fund-raising activities too. Volunteer as a Committee Chair or Join a Committee. We can always use your help

Founder / Executive Director

In March 2020, I began a Facebook group called “Centerton Cares- Residents in Need”. The initial purpose for this group was to find community resources to support my mother and brother who were both battling terminal cancer.

I searched locally to find ways to support them but felt overwhelmed by the many online groups and decided to create an online group specifically for the residents of Centerton.

On March 28, 2020, I received a call that my brother, Keith lost his battle to brain cancer, and on April 19 just a few short weeks later my mother, Karen, lost her battle to lung cancer. Since their deaths, I have channeled my grief in a positive way to help those in need.

The mission of Centerton Cares is to bring unity in our community by encouraging residents to help meet the needs of others. The residents of Centerton are incredibly generous and selfless, and I look forward to finding new ways to meet the needs of Centerton residents in the future.

Wendy is happily married and enjoys being a mother to her 3 kids and 2 wonderful step-daughters.

Casi Robinson

Secretary

Casi has lived in Northwest Arkansas for over 15 years. She is a Manager in the Merchandising Division for Walmart. The Robinsons are passionate about serving their community. Casi is honored to be a part of Centerton Cares and is excited to work toward a brighter future for the residents of Centerton.

Michelle Spear

Co-Treasurer

Michelle is a Co-Treasurer for Centerton Cares. She has over 20 years' worth of experience in Finance and Accounting. She enjoys helping others and volunteering in our community. She is interested in seeing Centerton Cares grow and do more to help the community!

Lindsi Miles

Communications

I am Lindsi Miles and I have called Centerton "home" the majority of my life! I am married to my husband, Cody, of 12 years and we have 2 kids, Colin and Chloe, along with 3 dogs! We love being active, helping our community and spending with our family! Centerton Cares has been a part of our family for two years now with us just simply trying to help stock the free little pantries. I hope to see you around town at some of our fun events!
